This impressive 'Emperor's Crown' has orange-red, hanging, bell-shaped flowers. The strong air of the bulbs keeps mice and moles at bay. It is advisable to plant the bulb at a slight angle when planting to prevent water from remaining in the bulb. It is not a real 'feraler'. If you want to keep the bulbs, harvest them as soon as possible after the leaves have died and store them in a dry place above 20 degrees until replanting in October. Also nice to combine with other bulbs in a pot on terrace or balcony.
